Ha! I automatically always go for tea. Well, when I say British cuisine, I mean all of it - from mushy peas to 'beans on toast,' to the custards and tarts and Yorkshire pudding (without the meat of course), as well as the Indian, Chinese and Middle Eastern food the city has to offer. I haven't had any food in London that I didn't love, as opposed to Rome which I felt had no diversity at all. I got sick of eating Italian food in a few days.

I am, however, confused about what constitutes British cuisine, though. Wasn't sure we had any, although don't get me wrong. From Indian takeaways to a sit-down meal at a Lebanese or Turkish restaurant, to relaxing at a cafe in South Kensington, or to chips in curried sauce (or an Indian) after the pub, I'm not complaining about the food on offer. Just interested in what you consider to be British cuisine. :)

Funny, you thought of starting a post on London with a photo of some tea. I'd have gone automatically for beer... :)

Boy, do I miss London pubs...
